Pastor Aubrey B. Ralph
My mission is to offer strategic opportunities to love and bring hope to the people in the Caribbean Basin.
For 12 years, I served part-time in delivering life-saving goods and services to the Haitian people as well as training pastors from several Caribbean nations to minister more effectively to people in their communities. I have witnessed firsthand the transformational impact of investment in children and communities.
In 2011, we began investing in Paola, a very shy, 10-year-old Haitian girl. She is now a university student in the Dominican Republic and is a sought-after spokesmodel representing Haiti at international forums. Another of our students, Emma has completed high school and is now in teacher training. In parallel, with our help, the Philadelphia Church in Haiti has grown from a congregation of 150, meeting under a tent made with recycled tarpaulin, to a well-constructed building that serves as a meeting place for 750 on Sundays, an emergency shelter, a school for 300 kids and a food distribution center for the community. Also, in October 2022, I opened a new World Hope Bible Institute location in Trinidad with 35 pastors and ministry leaders in training.
By God's grace, he has used me as a surrendered vessel to invest in people in the Caribbean Basin while working full-time as a senior leader of a large IT company. Now, I believe the time has come to answer God's call to devote myself entirely to ministering to people in the Caribbean. At the end of 2022, I retired from my corporate role and began work as a full-time missionary.
In my new role, I continue to serve as President of Rebuild Haiti and as an Associate Director of the World Hope Bible Institute. Our goal in Haiti is to build ethical, healthy, and sustainable communities that support individuals, families, and the collective. I will continue to work alongside our Haitian partners who invest thousands of hours of sweat equity, learning new skills and becoming community leaders. I will continue our work to help 100 children realize their full potential by attending school consistently until graduation despite the geopolitical challenges Haiti faces. Through World Hope Bible Institute, I will train pastors and ministry leaders who lack access to Seminary or Bible College education.
After a long career, most people understandably retire to rest and recreation. I feel compelled to "retire" to full-time ministry. Most of you know, I am a son of the Caribbean. I love these people.
